Pandemic. 2020.

Pandemic took form in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, exploring the complicated relationship between humanity and nature through the domestic realm. Sleepless nights and nightmares became more prevalent as people were locked in their own homes, monitoring updates about the virus on the news. With abstract forms and primary colors drawn from the Suprematist compositions of artists like Kazimir Malevich, both of the pillowcases in this installation display different types of media in their craft.
